Opening
I was in the shower and thought up of this idea.... I am not even sure how festible it would be, but that is what discussion in the forum are fore.

The problem
Anyhow, it is to help the Newer Player get more gold. I feel it is very dishearting if you are new player now, and see the guy next to you in new Ascalon that have same level as you, but max of everything with so much gold that he don't know what to do with it. You hear people selling greens for 100k, while you can barely make 1k in a day. Its that feeling that you just know you will be at the bottom no matter what, as long as those hardcord player is playing one day. (but since I am not a new player, so I am just guessing)

Gold Trail Quest Edition
So how about this. A.net and NcSoft come up with a GW: Gold edition. When you buy and sign up for a new account now, you will get a special Gold Trail Quests. It will be a progressive quest (one where you must do one after another), with reward often in Gold. It have you try to find a hidden treasure of sort. (Area around the Wild or the Desert is a good place to hide it) and finding it will give you some good amount of gold (maybe like 20k). As well as adding more gold reward to you in regular quests or missions.

Solution?
In theroy, this would help blance the gold up a bit between new and old, and encourage new players to join, selling more copies, and make everyone happy?

hmm it will stop ppl from trying to scab money..abd spamming the all chat saying GIVE ME 500 gps... but all the "old players" didnt have this.. weve hade to make our money fairly (unlees yall use bots...) so why introuduce that i say f*** the "noobs" makem make there cash like we did..

You do need to consider the big gap between the someone new and someone that is in the game for long time. Since there are not any good output of gold right now, the gold hording is an ever increasing problem.

Beside, no one is stoping you to go out and buy a new Account/game. And looking at time wise, a new player might take 4,5 hours to finish all mission (not counting progressing the game in a normal pace), while it proble take a experience farmer about same time to make that too. And would promote sells, giving A.net more money to produce a better game, and increase the community, etc etc.
